With a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m² brightness, it delivers deep blacks and vivid colors. The monitor features HDMI and DisplayPort inputs and comes in a black/silver/red design. Priced at $200, it offers a high-refresh-rate ultrawide experience at an affordable price point.
Our take
I've been using the AOC CU34G2XP for a few weeks, and for $200, this ultrawide gaming monitor is a steal. The 3440x1440 resolution with 180Hz makes gaming smooth and immersive, especially in racing and shooters. The VA panel delivers excellent contrast at 4000:1, and HDR 400 adds some pop, though it's not true HDR. Curvature helps with immersion, and FreeSync works well with my AMD GPU. However, viewing angles aren't as good as IPS, and the 1ms response time is more marketing reality. The stand is functional but basic. Overall, a great value for budget-minded gamers wanting ultrawide.
